Most failed payments to an exchange are stopped on the way out, by the sending bank, not on arrival.

## How to tell where it stopped

If the money never left your account, the bank blocked it. If it left and returned days later, the receiving side rejected it.

Most people contact the exchange first, which is the wrong desk in the more common case.

## What causes a block here

The destination being recognised as crypto-related. An amount unusual for the account. A payment reference that triggers a review. Or an internal policy applied to the category as a whole.

None of these is a judgement about you personally.

## What usually resolves it

Calling the bank and confirming the payment is yours and intended. A surprising share of blocks exist to prompt exactly that confirmation.

Expect to be asked what the payment is for and where the money came from. Answer plainly; evasiveness turns a payment question into an account question.

## What does not resolve it

Resending the same payment unchanged. The same rule stops it again and a pattern of attempts makes the next conversation harder.

Rewording the reference to disguise the purpose is worse. It reads as evasion and the account becomes the subject.

## When it is policy rather than a control

Some banks decline this category as a matter of policy and will say so if asked directly. No explanation changes that.

Asking before you commit money is faster than discovering it in transit.

## The receiving side matters too

An exchange that cannot reliably receive from banks here has a banking problem of its own, and that problem reappears on the way out.

## The sequence that works

Confirm the venue serves Kazakhstan. Confirm your bank will send. Send a small amount first and watch it arrive.

[Venues that accept a local bank transfer](https://collectnexchange.com/company/supported-countries) publish which routes work from which countries, which turns the first two steps into a page rather than a phone call. After that, [Collect & Exchange](https://collectnexchange.com/) or whichever venue you choose is a known quantity rather than an experiment.
